Sims, CEO of Herbert J. Sims & Co., Inc., at its annual Doorway to Possibility Gala benefit for senior housing. Mr. Sims was recognized for his expertise and accomplishments in the senior housing and health care industries. Herbert J. Sims is an investment bank that specializes in the structuring and underwriting financing for senior living and long-term care communities.

The Doorway to Possibility Gala took place on Monday, September 19, 2005 in New York City, at Chelsea Piers. Lynda Baquero, NBC news anchor and reporter, served as Master of Ceremonies.
