Executive Vice PresidentSouthport, CT (203) 418-9003 Mr. Rolett has worked in the senior living financing industry for 17 years and completed more than $1 billion of tax-exempt bond financings for continuing care retirement and assisted living communities and nursing homes. His experience also includes several seed money financings for pre-construction expenses for continuing care retirement communities and an equity financing for a for profit assisted living facility. Mr. Rolett served for five years on the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission's Financial Advisory Panel and is a member of the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging Retirement Housing Subcommittee. He completed numerous financings for multi-facility organizations including United Methodist Homes of New Jersey, Presbyterian Homes and Services, Kendal Corporation's affiliated retirement communities and Loomis Communities. His expertise includes obligated group bond issues, credit enhancement (private, insurance and bank letter of credit), inter-creditor agreements for tandem issues (bank construction loan and tax-exempt bonds or unrated and credit enhanced tax-exempt bonds), Fitch Investors Service and Standard & Poors investment grade ratings and financing for start-up senior living communities. Prior to joining Herbert J. Sims & Co. Inc.'s investment banking department, Mr. Rolett was a Vice President of AMBAC, a municipal bond insurance company, and a Financial Guarantee Officer at Aetna Life and Casualty. At Aetna and AMBAC, Mr. Rolett developed credit enhancement for many different kinds of revenue bonds. Mr. Rolett graduated From Phillips Academy Andover and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College. He earned his Masters degree from Harvard University. Mr. Rolett has been with the firm since 1987. |
