Mr. Lohr is a Senior Vice President in the investment banking department of Herbert J. Sims & Co., Inc. and is responsible for transactions in the western region and Texas. Mr. Lohr has more than 17 years of finance experience including more than 11 years experience in the senior living industry.

Mr. Lohr has worked with more than 50 senior living providers and multi-campus systems nationally to plan and finance approximately $700 million of senior living communities. Mr. Lohr’s senior living experience includes not-for-profit and for-profit start-up CCRCs, independent living and assisted living communities, campus expansions, renovations and redevelopments, acquisitions, strategic planning, development planning, business reviews, repositioning assessments, Authority and regulatory filings as well as negotiation of various contracts. His transaction and financial structuring experience includes taxable and tax-exempt bond financings including non-rated fixed rate and rated variable rate debt, letters-of-credit, construction loans, subordinate debt, seed and equity capital.

Prior to joining Herbert J. Sims & Co., Inc., Mr. Lohr was Corporate Vice President at Greystone Communities, Inc. in the planning and finance group. Mr. Lohr was also a member of Greystone Partners and has privately developed and owned an independent senior community. Mr. Lohr began his career with Bank One, Texas and was also a consultant with Peterson Consulting and Tucker Alan, Inc. where he served in various financial advisory, analytical, valuation, and business development roles. Mr. Lohr graduated from Baylor University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
