Jason H. Diamond is Chief Financial Officer of Herbert J Sims & Co., Inc. Mr. Diamond’s career spans 22 years in the financial services and accounting industries.

Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of The Advest Group, which prior to it’s acquisition by Merrill Lynch was one of the leading regional financial services firms in the country. Before joining The Advest Group, Mr. Diamond was with Signator Investors, Inc., the Broker/Dealer subsidiary of John Hancock Financial. Mr. Diamond joined John Hancock’s Broker/Dealer as Chief Financial Officer and shortly thereafter assumed leadership of the organization as President and CFO.

Before joining John Hancock, Mr. Diamond worked for Wall Street Investor Services, a full service NYSE Registered Securities Brokerage Firm, where he advanced from Corporate Controller to Chief Financial Officer. Previously he was a Senior Auditor with the Regional Accounting firm Richard A. Eisner and Co. where he specialized in the firms Financial Services Group.

He is a graduate of Brooklyn College and is a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
