Freedom Bay

an affiliate of sims provides a $12,000,000 acquisition/land loan for start-up active adult, ccrc, medial office and bed & breakfast campus

The loan was used by Freedom Bay to purchase a controlling interest in Adult Assisted Care Associates, the owner of 106 acres in Portsmouth and Middletown, Rhode Island.

Freedom Bay

Once completed, the campus will consist of 149 cottages for active seniors age fifty-five and older; 44 unit independent living units situated in a main clubhouse building that will house an activity center, restaurants, and a “Main Street” of shops and amenities; 63 assisted living and dementia units, 54 skilled nursing and dementia units, a 60,000 square foot medical office building for primary care physicians and other ancillary services, along with an extensive wellness center; and an 18-unit bed and breakfast inn for use by the residents and their guests.
